"May" a spring flower bouquet

16" x 20" Acrylic painting on paper. Inspired by a Chinese American woman who was looking for something a little more east-west in her collection. This was done mostly with a bamboo brush, but with Acrylics to give it a little more texture and color intensity.
I enjoyed painting in this way, so continued on after her commission to paint a series of florals in this style. The above painting, "May" is the second in the series and is for sale at auction on www.ArtByUs.com
